FULL ELECTRIC OR HYDROGEN POWERED.
Two ways to acheive Zero-emission.
One modular vehicle architecture.
Complementary technology that provides benefits for diverse use cases and transportation needs
In 2011, Gaussin invented and developed a compact, modular and versatile solution that packages the required components for energy storage, supervision and thermal management.
The POWERPACK FULL ELEC utilizes the latest generation of battery technologies as a source of energy.
The POWERPACK swapping system has been designed to tackle the battery range challenge with a novel approach.
It takes 3 minutes using standard material handling equipment to replace a drained POWERPACK with a fully charged one.
Eliminates vehicle immobilization during charging.
Reduces the number of spare batteries required across a fleet, with optimized sizing based on your peak operations.
Reduces the number of vehicles required to perform the same operations and therefore delivers a lower Total Cost of Ownership compared to traditional BEV solutions.
We select and integrate best-in-class cells and modules from the top manufacturers in the world.
Whatever your duty cycle or operational environment, we provide the appropriate battery to meet your requirements.

In 2013 Gaussin developed a compact, modular and versatile solution that packages the required components for Hydrogen fuel-cell energy generation, supervision and thermal management.
The H2 POWERPACK utilizes the latest fuel-cell, tank storage and energy management systems from our strategic partners.
Where virtually all other fuel sources produce carbon dioxide or some other harmful emission as a byproduct of their consumption, using hydrogen in fuel cells produces only electricity and water.
Hydrogen is stored in a pressurized container and oxygen is extracted from the air.
Because of the absence of combustion, there are no harmful emissions, and the only by-product is pure water.
The Hydrogen POWERPACK is utilized in combination with battery capacity to provide the maximum performance when required.
Sustainable source of energy
Quick refuelling : 5 minutes
Longer autonomy
Reduced vehicle weight
The specific approach to the production process, including the energy source utilized, will determine whether hydrogen is green or blue.
Blue hydrogen is produced when natural gas is split into hydrogen and CO2 either by Steam Methane Reforming (SMR) or Auto Thermal Reforming (ATR), but the CO2 is captured and then stored. Since the greenhouse gases are captured, this mitigates the environmental impacts on the planet.
The ‘capturing’ is done through a process called Carbon Capture Usage and Storage (CCUS). More about that in due course.
Green hydrogen is produced by splitting water by electrolysis. This produces only hydrogen and oxygen. We can utilize the hydrogen, while venting the oxygen to the atmosphere with no negative impact.
Electricity is required for the process of electrolysis, and Green hydrogen is powered by renewable energy sources, such as wind or solar. This makes green hydrogen the cleanest option.
